No-one plans to get sick. I certainly didn't. I never smoked, was in good shape and followed a healthy lifestyle. But a number of years ago I suddenly came down with a severe cold. My doctor told me to take Tylenol and rest in bed. I was back a few weeks later in his office, severely ill with lymphomic cancer.

From there, it was the hospital where I stayed for months and underwent chemotherapy for more than a year.

The worse thing was… I had to live off my savings. I had to give up my apartment, return my leased car and forgo most of my business income.
I survived the cancer… but it took years to rebuild from the financial loss I suffered.

About Barry Greenberg

Barry Greenberg has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill Universality and a Master's of Business Administration form Concordia University. He is affiliated with the Toronto Board of Trade, The Association for Corporate Growth, the Family Firm Institute, BNI Canada, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Barry specializes in tax-efficient accumulation and distribution of wealth for business owners.

Barry's experience comes from 30 years of operational responsibility as an owner, partner and senior executive. For 10 years he was the president of an importing wholesale company and CEO of a multi-million-dollar retail and wholesale chain in the art and drafting supply industry. He has consulted for multi-national retail clothing and transportation companies.

Now Barry is a financial advisor, with the unique goal of finding client their money that they are spending unknowingly and unnecessarily. Barry brings to the table his senior executive skills, strong leadership abilities and wealth of experience in business management. His solid foundation in business start-ups and strategy make his advice invaluable when planning for growth. In his little spare time, Barry enjoys ice hockey, cycling, tennis, hiking and golf. He is a member of the Donalda Golf and Country Club.

Barry is passionate about listening to problems before prescribing solutions and then repositioning his client's family balance sheets in order to speed up the wealth creation process- while taking care of major risks along the journey. His focus is on families, business owners, professionals and individuals. Future plans which currently excite his office include using technology more robustly in delivering superior client research and customizing communications to ensure maximum satisfaction as family and business needs evolve in the years ahead.
